Doors open: 12PM, students arrive by 12:45PM for seating
Graduation Ceremony: 1PM-2:30PM
Meet and Greet with Students, Family, Faculty and Staff: 2:30PM-4:00PM

There are no tickets required. Hec Edmunson pavillion seats 7,000 people so there is plenty of room for all attendees.
Our graduation event will be hosted at Hec Edmundson Pavillion. 3870 Montlake Blvd NE, Seattle WA 98105
Please arrive with your friends so that you can all sit together. While there are no assigned seats, we will be filling in rows as students enter Hec Ed so you won't be able to save their seat if you arrive first.
Alaska Airlines Arena has a clear bag policy. Balloons, artificial noise makers, and confetti poppers are not allowed. Strollers can be parked at a corral near the NW entrance of the arena. Stoller parking is not attended. There will be metal detectors at the entrance to the arena.
If you wish to park on campus, parking permits will be required for this event. Students should purchase these permits for themselves and their guests through the Commencement Registration/Order Form, May 7th to May 25, 2025. Day of parking will be available in lots E1 and E18 for $19.50.

All entrances at Alaska Airlines Arena are ADA accessible. There are approximately 100 ADA seats throughout the venue. Assistive listening devices are available at no charge at the table near section 11/12.
The Hec Edmundson customer service team will be available on the day of the event to assist guests with accessibility. It will be helpful for us to receive requests for accessibility early to ensure that our event is welcoming and accessible for all attendees.
You can order your cap and gown through the Registration/Order Form on the Commencement website. A cap and gown is not required for the Biology ceremony (though you are welcome to wear one!), and our dress code is business casual.
Biology does have department specific stoles available for graduation this year. Students should order their stole by May 22nd to pickup in Hitchcock Hall.
We will not have a livestream available of our graduation. We will have a photographer at the event and students who RSVP will receive information to view and purchase photos after graduation.
