"Homelessness is a type of deep illness, a term coined by sociologist Arthur Frank for an illness that leaves you feeling dislocated, an illness that casts a shadow over your life" (Ensign, 2016, p.56).
Homelessness is the consequence of deliberate policy decisions. It is why we must all advocate for laws that accomplish social, economic, and racial justice for ALL to end homelessness and fulfill the human right to housing and health care.
