The first scientific paper presenting the results of the project was accepted for publication on Chemistry - A European Journal (DOI: https://doi.org/10.1002/chem.202403768). Dr. Davide Accomasso and Dr. Joanna Jankowska are co-authors of the paper. The article shows how our mixed quantum-classical simulations allowed us to reveal the photoisomerization mechanism of a prototypical first-generation motor.

Our second scientific article presenting the results of the project was accepted for publication on The Journal of Chemical Physics (DOI: https://doi.org/10.1063/5.0269998). A free version of the paper is also available on Zenodo: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.15552341. Dr. Davide Accomasso and Ms. Dominika Makoś are co-authors of the paper. The article shows how solvent polarity can affect the excited-state dynamics of a push-pull molecular motor.
