In times of the global challenges (the Covid-19 pandemic, armed conflicts or refugee/migration crisis, to name just a few), as researchers we are obliged to identify, analyse and reflect on an ongoing current social and political situation that affect not only the lives of the individuals but also entire societies.
This project is to connect our international and interdisciplinary expertise and to discuss the latest studies and the state of art on women's and human rights issues. In the course of seminars, we are going to provide a comprehensive and intersectional understanding of women's situation and vulnerable groups, both in the Global North and the South. Employment opportunities and discrimination at workplace, reproductive justice and rights, sexism, racism and economic inequalities, care work, work-life balance, asylum and refugee status, gender-based violence etc., are just a few of the issues interesting to discuss!
The contributions from researchers and social/human rights advocates representing various entities, institutional as well as independent, are warmly welcome!
A tangible result of the seminars will be a publication jointly edited by the project team and published under the auspices of the 4EU+ Alliance.
Join us and participate in the project seminars!
