How did MCCC start?

MCCC began for two reasons:

1. The construction industry is having difficulty finding qualified employees.

2. There is an increasing need for construction workers, especially after the recent devastating fires.

In November of 2017, the need for trained workers was recognized, and a number of local professionals, educators, and contractors got together to establish the MCCC. Some of the parties involved with starting the MCCC are:

Crane of Ukiah

Ukiah Unified School District

Selzer Realty

Mendocino College

Mendocino County Office of Education
