MCCC is a community funded program. All of the materials, certificates and students stipends are financed by money which is donated from businesses, organizations, and individuals within Mendocino County.
Please consider supporting the education of our community's new construction workers by donating to MCCC. We need to raise funds to run the program. Click here (link coming soon) to possible levels of donations for supporters. Suggested donation levels are $500, $1,000, $2,500, or $5,000. However, we encourage you to donate at any level at which you feel comfortable, even $5, or $10 will help!
Also, donations of construction materials such as lumber, plumbing supplies, or tools will decrease the amount of money which we have to raise.
If you aren't able to donate money, or materials. That is okay. We also need volunteers to give time. See below for a number of opportunities for you to donate time to help develop our future construction workers.
To donate, or for more information, please contact Eric Crawford at ecrawford@uusd.net, or call Eric at 707 472-5875.
You may get a start now by completing the form below. Let us know how you would like to help!
Are you an experienced interviewer? We will have a number of applicants to interview in December. If you can spare some time on December 4, 2018, we could use your help. On this day, we will be selecting the participants for this exciting program from a group of interested applicants.
Please let Eric Crawford know if you are interested in being involved in the selection of Mendocino County's new construction work force, as well as getting to know some of our community's youth. Contact Eric at ecrawford@uusd.net, or 707 472-5875.
Have you secretly wanted to be a teacher, AND have construction related skills? WE NEED YOU! We will need a number of construction savvy people to help supervise participants during our two week boot camp in June.
You could help ensure that the participants are safe, and that they receive quality instruction for the construction skills which they will practice. You could be part of training the next construction workers for Mendocino County.
Again, if you would like more information about donating materials, money, or time to assist the MCCC with educating our future construction workers, contact Eric Crawford at ecrawford@uusd.net, or 707 472-5875.
