Isabella Tibbetts is a Quechua woman of two lands. Born in the rural village of Pelileo, Ecuador. Adopted at 13 months into a loving family and raised on the ancestral lands of Shasta and Takelma people in beautiful Rogue Valley of Southern Oregon. She is a No Pipeline Fellow with Rogue Climate and Honor the Earth. Focusing on stopping the proposed Jordan Cove LNG pipeline and export terminal that threatens communities in Oregon. After the birth of her niece, the climate crisis reaffirmed her commitment to fight for her community and the future generations to come. Her passion and efforts are deeply rooted in the environment and indigenous action movements. Isabella has proudly worked with organizations like Southern Oregon Climate Action Now, Womens Earth and Climate Action Network, Green-Valley Samaritans. To embrace her cultural heritage she embodies the ancient Inca prophecy of The Eagle and the Condor, “When the Eagle of the North flies with the Condor of the South, a new day will awaken”.
