Pathways@RSS workshop aims to increase participation, especially among students early in their studies and careers, by providing guidance and inspiration for pursuing a future in robotics. We welcome students who are eager to explore the vast opportunities in robotics, whether in research, industry, or entrepreneurship. Through interactive discussions, mentorship, and insights from experts, participants will gain a clearer understanding of the pathways leading to a successful career in robotics.
Fellowships will be awarded to selected Highschool, BSc and MSc students. Priority will be given to students who have not previously attended RSS and/or are new to the robotics research community.
To be eligible for the program you must currently be at Highschool years 11 or 12, or enrolled in a BSc or MSc program in a robotics-related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering or other related fields)

A brief statement (up to 75 words) describing why do you want to attend Pathways@RSS
A brief statement (up to 75 words) about what you gain or contribute?
A brief recommendation from your current mentor, outlining the benefit of this fellowship to you and your continued studies
Supplemental material: this could be a link to your portfolio of robotics-related projects, videos, code, or any other highlights that you would want to share with us (only submit links to YouTube, GitHub)

The fellowship will cover the following:
Registration for the first two days of the RSS conference (includes workshops and main conference)
Local transportation fares
Note: No other expenses, except for what is mentioned above, will be covered
