THE FACULTY
The Architecture Programme resides in Faculty of Built Environment and Surveying (FABU), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia Main Campus in Johor Bahru. Originally consisted of two faculties: Faculty of Built Environment and Faculty of Geoinformation and Real Estate, it was consolidated into one faculty under the UTM Synergy 4.0 exercise in 2018.
It now hosts eight other undergraduate programmes other than Architecture: Landscape Architecture, Urban and Regional Planning, Quantity Surveying, Construction, Geomatic Engineering, Geoinformatics, Land Administration and Development and Real Estate.
FACILITIES
Architecture Studios reside in blocks B02 and B05, where they have access to all the facilities and services in close proximity.
CENTRE FOR THE STUDY OF BUILT ENVIRONMENT IN THE MALAY WORLD (KALAM)
This centre was established in June 1996 by members of the Programme of Architecture based on numerous intricate Measured Drawing works of Historical Buildings concern over the rapid decay and elimination of Malaysia's architectural heritage. The centre is located in B12 FABU.
