DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY
FIELD OF RESEARCH: MANAGEMENT
(PHAMA3AJA / PFMMA3AJA)
INTRODUCTION
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) is the highest research degree which involves an academic exercise to produce a research thesis under close supervision of a faculty member (Supervisor). The Ph.D. thesis produced should make scholarly significant contributions to the chosen field of study. Students also have the opportunity to develop and strengthen their research skills, explore their critical and analytical skills, expand networking or build collaborations on publications.
Students will be supervised by academic staff who will advise them on the direction and structure of the research throughout the entire Ph.D. study. The students put forward a research topic of their interest and they can work on research projects based on their supervisors’ research interests. This should be mutual between the supervisor and the student. The main objective is to develop independent, skillful, and successful researchers who can work on promising ideas, and thus can conduct more research independently upon their graduation. Following a successful proposal defense session, students would start to gather research data, analyze, data and write their thesis. The conferment of the degree is subject to the successful completion of the thesis and viva voce. FM offers you a research experience that unleashes your ultimate potential in shaping your future.
