Welcome Letter

On behalf of the faculty, welcome to the College of Nursing (CON), at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville! 

The CON was established in 1971. Both the baccalaureate and graduate programs are fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and have full approval status from The Tennessee Board of Nursing. The College of Nursing has a long illustrious history of providing quality nursing education and preparing graduates for professional nursing practice in the evolving health-care system. 

You are embarking on a journey which is full of challenges and rewards. Your future is bright with many options available to you as a nurse and as a vital member of the healthcare delivery team.
