You'll learn about the similarities and differences between scientists and engineers

Challenge 2: Newton's Laws

In this challenge, you'll learn about Newton's three laws of motion

Challenge 3: Hello World

In this challenge, you'll learn about encoding and coding, a basic skill used in computer science

Challenge 4: Let the Sun Shine

In this challenge, you'll learn about thermal energy and build a solar oven to make cookies


Supplies needed (supplies in bold will be send in STEM kits)

  • Paper

  • Pencil

  • Crayons

  • String

  • Tape

  • 1 Paper Cup

  • 2 Bendable Straws

  • Modeling Clay or Play-Dough

  • Paper clips

  • Note card

  • Metal brads (we gave you two, you only need one)

  • Cipher Pattern

  • Pizza boxes

  • Temperature probes

  • Newspaper

  • Clear plastic wrap

  • Aluminum Foil

  • Scissors

  • Tape

  • Timer

  • Cookie mix
