It is important for neighbors and event planners to be familiar with the Student Union Emergency Operations Plan should an emergency arise. While this in not the complete plan; it contains enough information to be beneficial.
Safety Leads are designated for each floor/department in the Union. They are responsible for assisting the Union Staff and EP Coordinators in implementing emergency procedures for their respective areas of responsibility in the Union. These Safety Leads are part of an organized group within the Union, known as the Safety Team.
