4-H Junior Camp
Join us for 5 days and 4 nights of the most fun you will ever have! Axe throwing, canoeing, archery, woodworking, fishing, ga-ga ball, swimming, a carnival, and so much fun we can't even list it all. Did we mention the 130ft water slide? Because we have that too!
Clyde York 4-H Center is located in beautiful Crossville, TN. There are plenty of big open style cabins with bunk beds for that much needed nighttime recharge. And the food is pretty great too! Trust us when we say you don't want to miss out on this camp!

Electric Camp
The power we're supplying is electrifying at this specialty summer camp! 6th, 7th and 8th graders will get to explore the world of energy, electricity, energy conservation, electrical safety, and so much more! Did we mention you also get a day at Dollywood? Don't miss out!

Some of the things you will get to do include:
Wiring an Extension Cord - learn basic wiring skills and put them to the test by wiring up an extension cord with USB charging capabilities that you can take home!
Biometric Robot - learn about the engineering design process, biometrics, and robotics while building a robot inspired by nature!
Robotics - no longer only a part of science fiction, experience the latest robot tech and try your hand at programming a robot to do a specific task!
Home Energy Conservation - the more electricity we use, the higher our electric bill. Learn how to conserve electricity in your home to not only lower your power bill, but to also conserve our environment!
Electric Vehicles - many car manufacturers are producing vehicles that run from a battery and use an electric motor instead of an internal combustion engine. Learn all about the latest electric vehicle tech at this station!
Electrical Safety - while electricity does a tremendous amount of work for us, it is an extremely powerful force we must be careful around. Learn how to play it safe around high voltage power lines in this activity!

4-H Junior High Camp
Did you go to the Jr. 4-H Camp and think to yourself "Man, I wish I could keep coming back to this camp in 7th and 8th grade!"? Do you like the television shows Survivor and The Amazing Race? Then you are in luck!
Jr. High Camp is a combination of the best of the best when it comes to activities! Get sorted into one of 4 tribes and compete in tribal challenges. Compete in your very own Amazing Race competition. Enjoy some awesome field trips and off site activities. Not to mention all of the incredible workshops and traditional camp activities! We promise you will have a blast!

Pick from one of the following Adventures:
The Falls are Calling - this is no simple walk in the park! Our most challenging adventure is a hike to the beautiful Margarette Falls.
Presidents and Vintage Cars - learn from the past during this tour of the Andrew Johnson Historical Site and Greeneville's own City Car Garage for a look at some really cool cars from back in the day.
Green Water Excitement - challenge your paddling skills as you canoe down the Nolichucky River. Not a lot of white water, but a lot of excitement!
Jurassic Camp - take a trip to an actual fossil dig site and learn more about fossils and paleontology. We're pretty sure all of the dinosaurs are dead...but you never know...
Awesome hands-on workshops include:
Aquatics - explore the creatures of the abyss! Experience what goes on in the water in swamp and lake areas.
Cooking with Fire and Iron - what would you do if there was no electricity and your family ran out of potato chips? Learn how to use fire and iron to cook snacks or a complete meal for your family.
CSI Crime Scene Investigation - use science to determine who committed the crime. Learn how to dust for fingerprints, blood type, and other techniques used by experts to crack the case!
Extreme Fishing - this is not just a day for fishing! Learn the art of tying knots and selecting/using different lures. Experience the art of casting and try it for yourself!
Martial Arts & Self Defense - learn and explore forms and techniques of martial arts including self defense strategies.
Geo-Caching - take nothing but a handheld GPS unit on a geo-caching adventure! This is one of the tribal challenges, and your tribe is counting on you to find the treasure!
Hot Air Ballooning - soar high into the sky! Construct a hot air balloon as big as you and see how high your team's design will fly!
JR The Science Guy - Einstein had nothing on Professor JR! If you have an interest in physics, a thirst for science, or just want to see a ping pong ball travel 300mph then you will love this workshop!
Photography - learn to take great photos using cameras or cell phones! You'll pick up tricks to make your pictures really tell a story.
Rockets Red Glare - learn more about rockets and how they work! How high do they fly? How can you calculate the altitude? This workshop is guaranteed to be a blast!
Sew Much Fun - do you love to sew? If "sew", this is the class for you! No matter if you are a novice or an expert, this class is sure to be enjoyable.
Survival of the Fittest - what happens when you go on a hike and get lost in the woods? Can you survive in the wild? We will find out!
Zippin' and Zoomin' - test your skills at the Clyde Austin Challenge Course! climb the wall, look out for the giant spider...negotiate the meat grinder.

Target Smart Camp
Would you like to learn how to shoot a bow and arrow like Katniss Everdeen herself? How about rifles and shotguns? Maybe pick up some new hunting and outdoors skills? Then Target SMART camp is for you!
No matter if you have been shooting for several years or if you are just starting out, you won't want to miss out on this camp! But don't wait! This camp only has a total of 60 spots!!!
Target SMART camp is conducted at the same time as the Jr. High 4-H Camp, so you will also be able to enjoy some recreational time swimming, woodworking, and spend some time in Mr. JR's science and nature centers!

Quilt Camp
Come join us for sew much fun you won't be able to believe it! At this camp, participants will be making a lap quilt, have the opportunity to make a quilt of valor, as well as making several different crafts in the evenings. Campers will also get to enjoy some of the amenities offered at the Jr. High 4-H Camp such as swimming and recreational activities!
Requirements: be able to sew a 1/4 inch seam allowance and sew in a straight line

Academic Conference
Would you like to be a college student for a week? Don't worry, you don't have to take finals! Immerse yourself in campus life at UT Knoxville and attend hands-on workshops in your program area! Did we mention swimming and a trip to Dollywood are included? You don't want to miss out!
