Geomatic For Built Environment

To generate knowledge on geomatic aspect in built environment. The course provides the student with basic understanding and technical skill in conducting field work surveying necessary for architectural work purposes. It covers the preparation of pre comp plan before the execution of design process and also on aspects of building survey using photogrametry for architectural measured drawing.

1. Explain the basic principles of surveying, relevant field work methods and survey instruments appropriate for architectural work clearly

2. Conduct the field work of building survey with appropriate procedures, tools and equipment in team effectively

3. Produce building survey drawings for architectural work via digital technology system efficiently
