Course Synopsis
Construction materials have an important role to play for sustainable construction. This course introduces student to timber as vital construction materials including its classification, properties, laboratory testing, manufacturing process and applications in built environment. Scope of study includes bricks and masonry, timber, which shall comprise the floor system, wall system and roof system.
