The program maintains salaries competitive with other Fellowship programs with similar cost of living.
Under the Family Medical Leave Act you may take up to 3 months off (extra can be given if approved by our department). Only vacation and sick days are paid. Sick leave accumulates at 12 working days per contract year with a rollover cap of 30 working days – sick leave accrues 1 day per month.

Private respite/lactation rooms are located on floors 5-8. In the floor’s main waiting area or at any nurse station, information is available on where and how to access the room.
A lactation area is also located inside the Women’s OR Locker Room on floor 3. Contact OR Administration for information on how to access the room.
Childrens's Memorial Hermann Hospital/Hermann Pavilion
A lactation suite is located on floor 8 near the front desk. It is open for use 24/7 to any employee. Please note that this specific location is high demand and may not always be available.
A lactation room is located on floor 5. To use the space, check in at the front desk and ask to access the room.
