The Women in Catalysis and Synthetic Chemistry Symposium at UT Austin is focused on strengthening the scientific community and fostering greater gender diversity. It is important that our female post docs, graduate students and undergraduates be exposed to successful role models. As a result, our event includes prominent female speakers from both academia and the chemical industry. We hope to promote personal and professional development by encouraging the growth of female students studying chemistry.
