Teaching Assistant: [UT Austin]

427J - Linear Algebra and Differential Eq

Linear Algebra and Matrices

Courses taught: M427J(S24), M427J (F23), M340L(S22), M427J(F21).

I have also taught Linear Algebra for several quarters at UC Santa Barbara as a CLAS tutor (see below)

Directed Reading Program (DRP) [UT Austin]: Paired with undergraduate math students in order to undertake independent study projects in a mathematical topic of the students' choosing. The goal is to cover material that isn't typically covered in a standard undergraduate math course witha project at the end.

Tutoring:  Working individually and in groups with students of various ages with a variety of educational goals; specialty in working with students struggling with ADHD. Evaluate students learning styles and provide appropriate techniques for maximum understanding.

Campus Learning Assistant [UC Santa Barbara]: Lead my own sections (analagous to TA) of 25+ students, did exam reviews, HW reviews, additional course help, and held office hours. Taught Linear Algebra for 5 quarters (2.5 years)

AWM Math Circle [UC Santa Barbara]: Created, developed, and grew the nation's first (free) Association for Women in Math (AWM) Circle. Directed the goal of the Math Circle to encourage and connect young women (ages 11-14) with a love of mathematics so that they could be surrounded by and inspired by female mathematicians. Coordinated hands-on group activities led by female faculty, graduate students, AWM officers and members.
