The Mind & Wellness Journey Series 2025
The Centre for Healthy Minds & Well-being (CHMW) is dedicated to fostering a mental health-friendly culture among UTAR students, staff, and the surrounding community. As part of this commitment, we proudly present the Mind & Wellness Journey Series—a collection of forums, workshops, and immersive experiences designed to cultivate mindfulness, resilience, and mental well-being.
Building a Mental Health-Friendly Culture
Promoting mental well-being goes beyond reducing stigma; it involves equipping individuals with tools to engage with their emotions and thoughts in a healthy, constructive manner. Through this initiative, participants will be introduced to Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) as a practical approach to self-awareness and emotional regulation.
The series aims to:
Encourage open discussions to reduce stigma surrounding mental health.
Promote the adoption of mental health-friendly practices in organizations and communities.
Foster empathy, understanding, and compassion toward individuals facing mental health challenges.
Who Can Join?
This series welcomes UTAR students, staff, and members of the nearby community who seek to enhance their mental well-being and contribute to a more supportive culture.
