The mission of the Utah Parent Center (UPC or Center) is to help parents help their children, youth and young adults with all disabilities to live included, productive lives as members of the community. We accomplish our mission by providing accurate information, empathetic peer support, valuable training and effective advocacy based on the concept of parents helping parents. Provides information, training, resource coordination and support to families and professionals to assist in navigating the systems of care for children and youth with special health care needs, including assistance with health insurance and funding needs. (801)272-1068

The Utah State Board of Education Special Education Services section provides leadership and support for educators, parents, and students with disabilities receiving special education and related services throughout Utah public schools and communities, in an effort to improve educational outcomes.

The mission of DSPD is to promote opportunities and provide supports for persons with disabilities to lead self-determined lives. They serve children and adults who have intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities, brain injuries, and autism. Services are uniquely tailored to each person and family and are designed to allow persons with disabilities to lead self-determined lives and be full participants in their communities. 211 provides people with ways to get help, and give help. By simply dialing 2-1-1, callers can connect to health and human resources they need, as well as find meaningful volunteer opportunities.

211 is an easy-to-remember, three-digit number that connects people to the services they need, such as housing and utility assistance, food resources, legal aid, and more.

The mission of the DLC is to enforce and strengthen laws that protect the opportunities, choices and legal rights of people with disabilities in Utah.

The Utah Center for Assistive Technology (UCAT) is a statewide resource offering information and technical services to help people with disabilities acquire and use assistive technology devices. UCAT offers free evaluations to anyone within the state of Utah.
