USBE GFL State Test
This is a great chance to show what you know and demonstrate your understanding of Financial Literacy. The test is available to all students currently enrolled in the course and can be taken from home with remote AI proctoring on a scheduled day and time.
Here’s what you need to know:
The test includes 52 questions and takes about an hour to complete.
You can only take the test once.
You’ll have access to a built-in calculator, but no notes are allowed.
If you score 74% or higher, you’ll earn a printable proficiency certificate!
Important: Passing the course earns you credit, not passing the test.
The State Test does NOT impact your course grade, and you’ll still earn graduation credit even if you don’t pass or choose to opt out. (Just remember: the State Test is separate from the Cumulative Exam in the course, which does count toward your grade.)
Toward the end of the semester, students will receive an email with detailed information about the state test. In that email, students will be able to choose from several available dates and times and select the option that works best for them.
If you have any questions, please email me at pharris@utahonline.org.
