I am so glad you are here! Below are some tips for how to be successful in this course.
1. Put in enough seat time. Online classes, especially Language Arts, require just as much time as you would put into a regular class (5-7 hours per week). If you do not put in the time you will quickly fall behind.
2. Work a little bit extra the first 2-3 weeks. Work on the weekends or at night for an extra hour or two at first, and you will be amazed at how easy it is to stay caught up later. Waiting until the last minute will provide less time for retakes or extra help. Feel free to use this pacing guide to help you stay on track.
3. Check your email every week. Reading messages from me will help you be successful in this course from start to finish and will ensure you don’t miss important information.
4. Please reach out to me any time you need help. You are welcome to contact me through a phone call, a text message, or an email with concerns or questions you have at any time.
