ACADEMIC INTEGRITY STATEMENT
(6/03/26 EM)
At Utah Online School, we believe in helping students achieve high levels of learning while also developing the moral character to lead exemplary lives to eventually serve as leaders in their homes and communities.
We believe that education involves an important learning process rather than just an outcome. Students gain the most from a high-quality education and prepare for the future when they develop essential skills and fully participate in the ongoing learning process.
As such, students must embrace their education with honesty and integrity. This includes avoiding plagiarism, including the unapproved use of artificial intelligence, homework cheating websites, and any automation that completes coursework for a student. Students must refrain from sharing UOS course materials, such as test answers, quiz responses, essays, or assignments, on homework cheating websites.
Students should fully commit to submitting their own authentic work, or they could face serious consequences such as failing an assignment or the entire course, or even withdrawal from Utah Online School. See here for further information about how Academic Integrity concerns will be addressed.
Students and staff at Utah Online School are responsible for behaving with honesty and integrity in their academic lives as well as maintaining high standards of personal conduct in their personal lives.
