Week 3 LA 11 Unit 1 Assessment Due Soon

Hello Amazing Students,

I hope your week is off to a great start! Is there anything I can do to support you in your class?

GOOD TO KNOW!

The suggested due date for your first Unit Assessment is Friday, January 30. If you haven’t submitted it yet, please spend some time in your course this week so you’ll be ready to submit it by the 30th. Do you have any questions about this assessment? I’m here to help! Just respond to this email and let me know!

A great pacing goal is to be on pace or ahead of schedule in your ELA 11 course by Monday February 2.

Monday, March 16 - Fourth Quarter Begins
Friday, March 27- Suggested Due Date for Unit 3 Assessment
Friday, March 27 - Begin Honors Project (For Honors Students Only)
Friday, April 3 - Finish and Polish Honors Project (For Honors Students Only)
Friday, April 17- Suggested Due Date for Unit 4 Assessment
Friday, April 17 - Suggested Due Date for Honors Project (For Honors Students Only)
Friday, April 17 - Suggested Completion Date for Students Striving for a High grade
Friday April 24 - Any work submitted after this date, with authenticity concerns will receive an automatic and permanent zero. For this reason, I strongly suggest completing all coursework by Friday, April 17.
Friday, April 24 - Last day to request assignment resets
Friday, May 1 - Coursework is due by the end of the day

If you haven’t already, complete the welcome unit to set yourself up for success and to stay on pace. Click here for the PACING GUIDE. Remember to schedule time to work on your UNIT ASSESSMENTS. A great goal is to be 10% complete with your course by Friday, January 16.
