I am excited to have you in my class this semester! I look forward to getting to know you a little bit and helping you achieve your exercise goals. In this class we will go over some basic skills and information that will give you some basic knowledge to help you create a personalized exercise plan and help you maintain an active and healthy lifestyle!
2 PARTS TO THIS COURSE
Part 1: Online Course work
20% of your grade comes from course that does not include video submissions or exercise hours.
30% of your grade comes from course work that includes a video submission, that shows your face and you talking!

Part 2: Exercise Hours
50% of your grade comes from completing all of your Exercise Hours.
The number of hours you must complete depend on the credit type and semester you are completing.
20 hours of each FALL/SPRING quarter credit class
40 hours for each FALL/SPRING full semester credit class
15 hour for each SUMMER quarter credit class
30 hour for each SUMMER full semester credit class
You will need to track your hours on a spreadsheet like this, Exercise log.
You WILL NOT SUBMIT Exercise hours until all hours are completed and you will submit them through the assignment 'Submit TOTAL Exercise Hours' and the end of the course.
ANY ACTIVITY that RAISES YOUR HEART is an acceptable activity for your exercise hours.
All hours must be completed during the semester or quarter that you are taking the class!
If you are taking multiple PE class you can not count the same exercise hours for both classes! (separate hours for each class must be completed)
If you have a manual labor job that raises your heart rate while doing it you can count up to 25% of your total exercise hours needed as manual labor hours completed at work but the other 75% of your hours need to come from intentional exercise!

A 93-100% C+ 77-79% D- 60-62%
A- 90-92% C 73-76% F 0-59%
B+ 87-89% C- 70-72%
B 83-86% D+ 67-69%
B- 80-82% D 63-66%
