Coach Olsen graduated from Hurricane High School in 2006 where he was involved in many teams and clubs! Throughout high school he played football, basketball, baseball and participated in track and field. He was very involved with FFA, woodworking and spent many winter days at Brian Head on his snowboard! After high school he served a mission for his church in Argentina, where he learned to speak Spanish.
He then went to Utah Valley University on a track scholarship where he competed for them for 2 years and earned an Associates degree. He then transferred to Southern Utah University to finish out his athletic goals and earn a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Physical Education and Human Performance and minoring in Spanish.
In 2014 he starting teaching PE and Spanish at Hurricane Middle School and started coaching Football and Track at Hurricane High School. He has loved coaching and teaching the youth of Hurricane for over 10 years!
After teaching for a few years he went back to school and earned a Masters degree in Educational Leadership from Western Governors University.
He is married to his best friend Cami and has 4 beautiful children! In his free time you will find him spending time with his family in the outdoors playing sports, camping, hunting, fishing, golfing, building things or helping his dad on the farm.
