It is simply impossible to become a great leader without being a great communicator. In this module you will learn why communication is so critical to leadership, some of the the organizational barriers to communication, and how to get your point across in the varied circumstances you may find yourself in.

Exceptional communication skills are critical to being an effective leader in any team and organization. In this video you will see why.


2. Barriers to Communication

One of the most challenging situations leaders face is having difficult conversations. In many cases, managers and supervisors simply avoid having these conversations at all, no one wants to be the bad guy. In this video we will explore and understand the barriers to communication that make having these conversations so difficult.


3. Balancing Communication

Sometimes it helps to think of communication as a balancing act. In this video you’ll learn the elements leaders should balance when successfully communicating.


4. Supportive Communication

What is it that effective communicators do so well? In this video we will uncover 6 elements of supportive communication that sets great communicators apart and look at data to understand why supportive communication is important to organizational outcomes.

5. Getting Your Point Across

In this final segment you will learn how to effectively get your point across as well as how you can use proper communication channels and technologies to deliver your message according to the situation you find yourself in.
