Thank you for your interest in learning more about this study!
My name is Megan Yockey. As a First Lieutenant in the US Air Force, I am completing my doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology at Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, MD. My mentor is Dr. Marjan Holloway, a Psychologist in the State of Maryland and a Professor at the University.
Given my decade-long experience as a mental health technician in the Air Force and my future work as an Air Force Clinical Psychologist, I am interested to learn about why our service members choose to drink during different types of military tours. Your experiences may help researchers and clinicians, such as myself, better understand the motivations underlying alcohol consumption and potential consequences.
