A note regarding Florida travel advisories:
As you may have seen, a number of organizations including the NAACP, Equality Florida and the League of United Latin American Citizens, have recently issued travel advisories warning their constituencies of potential risks in visiting or relocating to the state of Florida. These advisories are in response to recently signed and pending Florida legislation that is believed to be discriminatory to people of color and LGBTQ+ individuals. We recognize this may be concerning to those of you traveling to Florida for this summit. We want you to know that your wellbeing matters to us and we share your concerns regarding the important issues these advisories address. The USTA’s commitment to inclusion and acceptance is unwavering, and we will continue to work to ensure the USTA National Campus remains a place that is safe and welcoming to all. We believe it is more important than ever that we are visible and active members of the Orlando business community and show up as allies to those who feel marginalized or excluded. Thank you.
