AD MELIORA: The Annual General Membership Meeting
The Ad Meliora: The Annual General Membership Meeting 2021 introduced the newly elected officers of the Executive Committee and of the Board of Directors; presented the achievements of the previous Executive Board; conducted elections for the Committee Chairpersons; and discussed the Strategic Operational Plan for the academic year 2021-2022. The Oath-taking of the current Executive Committee, Board of Directors, as well as the Block Officers and Committee and Guild chairpersons for A.Y. 2021 – 2022 also took place in the Ad Meliora.
OPTIO VOBIS: The Law
School Forum 2021
This project gave an opportunity for students who wish to pursue a law career to make an informed decision in choosing the best law school for them, based on information, facts, and testimonies be given by the invited speakers from different law schools in the country. The event also allowed its participants to gain an insight into the culture and expectations of studying in certain law schools.
UPSURGE: Legal Management
Leaders' Summit
This project provided the members of the society with sufficient skills and expertise that exhibits a true Thomasian Leader. The UST Legal Management Society encourages students to become active members of the society that provides efficient and effective leadership skills that also improves their decision making and interpersonal skills which helps create great and competent leaders.
LIVING THROUGH A SCREEN: MEDIA LAW AND SOCIAL MEDIA ETHICS
In the digitalized world that we live in, the event helped mold the students to be more wary and discerning of everything they see and interact with on social media or other digital platforms.
This project was intended for strengthening the UST Legal Management spirit and allowing our students to feel a better sense of belonging to the community. The event focused on establishing the Legal Management culture and ensuring that our students feel like they belong through making their experiences heard. The Society wanted its fellow students to feel like they fit in our community and hope that the strengths of our culture may echo even beyond our university.
