I am an assistant professor (professor doutor) at the department of Applied Mathematics of IME-USP (Institute of Mathematics and Statistics of the University of São Paulo, Brazil). I am mainly interested in numerical analysis, numerical methods for fluid dynamics problems, parallel-in-time methods, domain decomposition methods and reduced-order modeling.
Before that, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the same institute. My research project, supervised by Prof. Dr. Pedro Peixoto and funded by FAPESP (Sao Paulo Research Foundation), focused on the parallel-in-time solution of atmospheric circulation models.
I received my PhD at INRIA - LEMON team / University of Montpellier (France) in October 2021, under the supervision of Antoine Rousseau and Vincent Guinot. It focused on the numerical coupling of urban flood models at different scales using parallel-in-time methods.
