Programming that supports
Locus of research assistance and champions of information fluency/research skills
Topical lectures and small group discussions
Showcasing of scholarly and creative work
Appropriately fund library collections in support of the evolving curriculum and scholarly needs
Engage midshipmen with the latest research and publications in their studies
Assist in supporting, via the library resources, the scholarly work of faculty members
Goal: Preserve our unique position among academic libraries
Maintain status as the premiere academic naval library in the areas of history, tradition, and science
Appropriately provide, protect, and fund library collections
