USNA Class of 2025
I've always known Chemistry since middle school was a subject I wanted to study more when I grew up. It just made sense in my brain; I also see so much value in learning more about our physical world and how it works! I didn't know what polymer chemistry was really until the Professor-student meeting, but afterward, I was sold! Chemical synthesis was one of my favorite topics in Organic Chemistry, and I think it's genuinely so cool to experiment with different reagents to make the compound that you're looking for. I'm from a large suburb called Egg Harbor Township in New Jersey. My favorite memory from USNA by far would definitely be my past Spring Break trip to Indonesia/ Bali with some of my best friends! It was my first time abroad and was an experience I will never forget!
USNA Class of 2025
I am from Virginia, Minnesota and I enjoy studying chemistry here at the Academy. I am on the cross country and track and field teams. I am also involved in Semper Fi and Midshipmen Action Group. I enjoy running, swimming, reading, baking, and doing yoga in my free time. I decided to major in chemistry because I love spending time in the lab and I enjoy seeing how it applies to our everyday lives, especially in the Navy and Marine Corps. Upon graduation, I hope to become a Marine Corps Ground Officer.
USNA Class of 2024
I am from Chesapeake, Virginia and am majoring in Chemistry. I chose to study chemistry because I enjoyed learning about the theoretical concepts that make up the world around us, and so far I've enjoyed learning about organic synthesis in class and in lab. I enjoy weight lifting, and playing the guitar in my free time. Upon graduation I hope to commission into the Marine Corps.
USNA Class of 2024
I am a chemistry major from New York City, New York. I am on the Ultimate team here at Navy, and during my free time I like to run and I enjoy learning about personal finance. I chose to study chemistry because I fell in love with organic chemistry in high school and wanted to expand my knowledge. I was lured to assist with the degradable thermosets project during a presentation by then MIDN Bronte Bacchetta. Upon graduation, I would like to service select Medical Corps, and hopefully become an Undersea Medical Officer and/or Flight Surgeon.
Recipient of the American Chemical Society Undergraduate Organic Chemistry Award, Spring 2024.
Member of the Phi Lambda Upsilon Honorary Chemical Society, Spring 2024.
USNA Class of 2023

USNA Class of 2022
I am a chemistry major from Atlanta, GA and I run track and field at the Academy. Some of my favorite hobbies include reading, cooking, and going on long runs. I chose this major because I have always appreciated the fact that chemistry involves mathematical as well as theoretical and conceptual components, and because I was fascinated by the range of practical applications. I plan to service select surface warfare and hope to eventually attend graduate school to obtain a PhD.
