Assessment is an on-going process of data collection, evaluation, and improvement with departmental outcomes scheduled to be assessed over a reasonable period of time (about every 4 years).
Not all outcomes are scheduled to be assessed or assessment is occurring on an episodic basis.

At an annual offsite meeting (with documented minutes) the assessment committee provides the information that was collected and their evaluation of the assessment data for the past 3 years
All department members are given an opportunity to review and discuss areas of concern in breakout sessions during the off-site
Shortly after the offsite, the Assessment Committee meets with the Program Directors at the Continuous Improvement Meeting to develop recommended changes based on the assessment data and the offsite discussion
Recommendations are documented in the assessment report and progress is tracked (and color coded) to enable quick scanning of progress
