As part of the LEAP-RE Project Portfolio, the MiDiNA project has been officially started in July, 2023 for 2 years duration. It will gather 06 partners from 4 European and African countries (Nantes University (Project coordinator – France), M’sila University (Algeria), Aouina Kamel Company (Algeria), Technical University of Cluj Napoca (Romania), University of Mohammed V de Rabat, and Mohamed Ben-Abdellah (Morocco).
The project partners have organized their first virtual meeting on 10 July, 2023 in order to present the scientific and organizational expectations of the project to all members. The project activities are structured in 4 Work Packages: 02 WPs will explore the technical aspects related to deployment of Microgrids solutions at a neighborhood scale. In addition, this project includes social and economic dimensions which will be explored through 2 WPs.
The MiDiNA project will provide comprehensive methodological approaches to analyze the development potential of Microgrids and the integration of Renewable Energies in North Africa.
