Instructional Media Center (IMC)

The Instructional Media Center (IMC) is a section of the Learning Resource Center that plans and develops and makes available the multimedia resources and services to meet instructional, research, and community extension needs of the university.  It is located at the ground floor of the Cody Building.

The IMC services provide online reservation of facilities ( Cody Hall A and B and Mutien Marie Auditorium A and B) and IMC equipment and other resources, circulation of connectors, technical support like troubleshooting of IMC resources used by borrowers, instructional video documentation and editing, ID process and documentation of institutional events. It regularly maintains the LCD projectors placed in all classrooms stationed at every building in campus.  Reservation of facilities and equipment is on a first come first first basis. 

General Policy

The following are the policies to maximize the services of the Instructional Media Center (IMC):

Note: Please fill up your reservation information completely and have it signed/endorse by your coordinator or teacher in-charge before sending  to IMC. Only facilities and equipment indicated in the request will be approved and institutional events held outside of the campus can reserve mobile LCD and other equipment. 

3.   In case of lost or damage of borrowed equipment or LCD kit, report immediately to the IMC Office. It could be replaced with the        same equipment model & specification or pay the equivalent amount of the lost or damage equipment to the Business Office.

4.   Food and drinks are not allowed inside the auditorium and multimedia rooms to avoid rodents and for proper maintenance of the facilities. Failure to follow the policies and take care of the rooms could result in a borrower’s privileges being suspended for 1 semester after 3 consecutive notices.

 The IMC shall reserve the right to cancel or revoke a confirmation of misrepresentation and/or violation of any of the policies.

Services

Borrowing/Returning IMC materials   

lending and checking in of borrowed IMC materials like connectors (HDMI, VGA, Lightning, etc)

ID Process 

ID process is done online using google form. 


Photo Documentation 

assist in the still documentation of institutional events and activities 


Technical assistance on the use of AV equipment - 

technical assistance to faculty, students on the use of IMC equipment like smart TV, projector, sound systems, and more.

Video documentation 

 assists/supports the factual recording of events/activities for instructional and  archival documentation.


Live Streaming 

assistance to live coverage of virtual events/activities in real time.


Facilities

Cody Hall A and Cody Hall B

 It is located in the ground floor off the Cody Building. It can accommodate to a maximum of 40 persons at a time. 

Mutien Marie Auditorium A (MM Audi A)

Mutien Marie Auditorium A is located at the 4th floor of the Mutien Marie Building. It can accommodate a minimum of 50 and maximum of 100 persons.


Mutien Marie Auditorium B

Mutien Marie Auditorium B is located at the 4th floor of the Mutien Marie Building, left side of the MM Audi A. It can accommodate a minimum of 50 and maximum of 100 persons.   Reservation is on a first come first serve basis.
