Christopher Flygare has been working in the field of American Sign Language and Deaf Education for almost 25 years, at the high school and college level. After several years experience teaching mathematics and history to secondary students of Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind, he is currently teaching online secondary mathematics, history, and other subjects for USDB. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in mathematics education from Brigham Young University and his master’s degree in special education from University of Utah. He is married to Alicia Bingham and they have two older children. Christopher has also done translating, studio, musical, and filmed ASL work with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for over twenty years as well as being involved in several ASL stage performances and has given voluntary service as a local leader of a Deaf church as well as with UT-ASLTA (Utah chapter of the American Sign Language Teachers’ Association).
