Alicia Flygare
Alicia (Bingham) Flygare is deaf and has cerebral palsy. She originates from Las Vegas, Nevada, as the only deaf person in her family. Alicia graduated from Utah State University in 1996 with a bachelor's degree in Family and Human Development. She has worked in language training programs, teaching American Sign Language and professional skills to young adults, and has volunteered at Kendell School (at Gallaudet University) and also volunteered in teaching ASL in local churches and in local communities. She has worked as a dorm counselor at Kansas School for the Deaf, and has worked for over three years as a Deaf Mentor with USDB's PIP program. She is currently an online aide with USD Online program.
