About Us

I'm looking forward to another great year with our amazing students in a way!  I grew up in Kansas City, Kansas and graduated from Washburn University.  Before I became a librarian, I taught 5th and 6th grade at Sunflower Elementary.  This is my 20th year as the librarian at Quail Run. When I'm not at school I like spending time with my nieces and nephews, baking and of course reading! 

 I look forward to seeing everyone in our weekly library lessons and helping our readers continue to grow!   

I grew up in Savannah, Missouri and graduated from Northwest Missouri State University.  Following graduation I worked for a Chain Mfg. Company and Maytag before deciding I wanted to stay home while our children were young.   Once our youngest moved to middle school I began working at Quail Run Elementary.   I look forward to each new year and enjoy engaging in conversation with students and helping them find and discuss books they love!
