Communicating Concerns - All of us have work concerns from time to time. If you have such a concern, discuss it first with your supervisor. If, after talking it over with your direct supervisor and you still feel dissatisfied, please schedule a meeting with the department's supervisor, a building administrator, or the Exec. School Closure/Cancellation - If school is cancelled, 9 and 10 month employees do not report for duty. If employee is full time, then they may use personal or sick leave if such leave is available. 12 month employees will report for duty. This includes custodians, maintenance staff, and district office staff.
Sick Leave Pool - The BOE has approved a Sick Leave Pool for the benefit of full-time, regular, classified employees who have exhausted their normal accumulation of annual, personal, and sick leave. The pool is available for use only for reasons considered to be hardship, extreme misfortune, or catastrophic for the staff member. The Exec.
