Hello, Jay Shideler families!

I’m so excited to begin another year as your school librarian! After spending 12 years teaching secondary English in Albuquerque and Topeka, I found my dream job in the library. This year, I’m looking forward to welcoming students back, helping them discover books they’ll love, and creating a space where curiosity, learning, and a love of reading can grow.

When I’m not at school, you’ll find me spending time with my husband, Jeremy (a proud JS, WRMS, and WRHS graduate), our four kids—three of whom are Jays themselves—and our big, goofy beardidoodle. I also enjoy reading, writing, and creating things, whether it's a new project for the library or something crafty at home.
