About Me

This is my 7th year as a Comet. I teach 7th grade math and co-teach with Comet’s Science, Social Studies, and Math. I used to teach Art, so I bring that love of creativity with me to my classes. As a math teacher, I believe in building problem-solving and thinking skills, praising growth and progress over perfection, and having a growth mindset.

Last year, I graduated from FHSU with my Master’s degree. Yay!

As for home life, My husband & I have 4 dogs and 2 cats; almost all are rescues. I enjoy reading, re-watching my favorite tv shows, kayaking, travel, and eating various types of good food.
