The Contractor shall not discriminate against any employee or applicant because of race, religion, color, sex, national origin, or age. The Contractor shall take affirmative action to ensure that applicants are employed, and that applicants are treated during employment, without regard to that applicant’s race, religion, color, sex, national origin, or age. Such action shall include, but not be limited to employment upgrading, demotion, transfer, recruitment, recruitment advertisement, layoff, termination, rates of pay or other forms of compensation, and selection for training, including apprenticeship. The Contractor shall post in conspicuous places, available to employees and applicants for employment, notices setting forth the requirements of these non-discrimination provisions.
The Contractor shall, in all solicitations or advertisements for employees placed by or on behalf of the Contractor, state that all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, religions, color, sex, national origin, or age.
In the event of the Contractor’s noncompliance with any portion of this standard, the Owner may cancel, terminate, or suspend this Contract
