Hiawatha resident Barron Stringfellow performed his first paid show at the age of 13 in 1973, he is from Las Vegas, Nevada. He has been a consultant to Casino's as his profession for a bit less time than Magic! Taking his creativity and magic into consulting work to help casinos not get cheated. Taking two amazing professions rolling them into one. he has spent 20 Years in Tribal Gaming, 15 of those with this own Consulting Firm!
His combined works have been seen Internationally, and he may be the "Best Kept Secret in Magic"! In addition to his consulting work Barron has preformed educational shows for public schools, family shows, renaissance fairs, leadership trainings, keynote speaking events and so much more.
For the KAEA Barron will present to how very often we are swayed by words before we even get out of the gate! Demonstrating techniques for success in the shadow of others words…and will use Magic to do so.

As the Spencer Museum of Art's first Curator for Public Practice, Sydney initiates ways to involve community and incorporate feedback into exhibitions and programs. Her interests include community-based and socially engaged art; Indigenous art, culture, identity, and representation; and disability art, accessibility, and multisensory learning.
She serves on the Native Faculty and Staff Council, Powwow and Indigenous Cultures Festival Committee, and the Indigenous Arts Initiative committee at the University of Kansas. She received an MFA in expanded media from KU and a BFA in painting from the University of Missouri. Sydney is a citizen of the Iowa Tribe of Kansas and Nebraska.
