ACT/Testing Information
Below are information and resources to help you plan and prepare for important exams given annually by AHS. These exams often determine what options you will have for course placement in high school as well as career options outside of high school, whether that be traditional college or vocational training. Please use the resources as needed, but don't hesitate to reach out to instructors or counselors for extra assistance.

9th Grade - PreAct 8/9 - Oct 25, 2022- we will use the annex
10th Grade - PreAct - October 27, 2022 - we will use the annex
11th Grade - WorkKeys Assessment - Oct 5, 2022- we will use the annex
11th Grade - ACT - March 2023 - we will try and go to BC like last year
State Assessment Dates (March 20-April 28)
10th Grade Reading - March 27 and 28
11th Grade Science - April 4 and 5
10th Grade Math - April 18 and 19
Testing Preparation and Resources
StudyPoint offers free ACT and SAT practice tests virtually, so you can take the practice test from your home. Anyone who participates will receive a free score analysis that breaks down how you did by section, question type, and content area. They run multiple practice tests each week. If you're interested, you can view available dates and register for a test.
