Established in 1929, the International Thespian Society (ITS)   was organized for the purpose of raising standards of the dramatic arts in secondary schools.

Andover High School Thespian Troupe #3540 is a part of the Kansas Chapter of ITS.  Students who participate in AHS Trojan Theatre earn points for hours worked within the department.  Students who earn enough points are invited to be inducted into Troupe #3540.

Thespian Troupe #3540 is committed to our community! Last year, troupe members hosted a Princess Tea to raise money for Habitat for Humanity and hosted a breakfast for AHS Teachers and Staff. Thespian Troupe Cabinet members and our leadership team plan department gatherings, fundraising events and find ways to promote positive engagement in our school and community. Each year students attend the Kansas Thespian Festival in January
