You can sit with us! That's not just our motto, that's the way we engage our community! Whether you've always been involved in theatre, or you've always wanted to try, there is a place for you in our department. Here are some specific ways you can get involved.
Audition for a show! We produce a fall musical, Senior Directed One Acts and a spring play. ANY student is encouraged to audition. No experience necessary.
Be on crew for a show! Don't like being in the spotlight but want still want to help? Without techies, actors would be standing, naked in the dark. We need help building the set and moving scenery during performances, running light and sound, helping with props and costumes and selling tickets/helping with publicity. It's all essential for our success.
Attend our events. The AHS Trojan Theatre Team has some fun activities planned this year. Watch the call board and weekly announcements for more information.
Attend our performances! Without the audience, theatre doesn't exist. Enjoy the show!
AHS Trojan Theatre is a family affair! There are so many ways that families and friends can get involved. Here are just a few!
Family Nights - During the main stage productions, we have tech nights were everyone is invited to help in our technical areas. We need help in set construction, costumes, props and publicity! These evenings are filled with fun and camaraderie, a special characteristic of our department.
Rehearsal Meals - During our tech week, we rely on parent and caregiver volunteers to provide dinners for our cast and crew.
Monetary Donations - It takes a lot of capital to produce our shows! Funds are used for purchasing performance rights, materials for building sets and costumes, purchasing special prop items and paying for additional staff when warranted.
Wish List Items - Check out our Amazon wish list as well as our department wish list.
Attend our productions! That's the best way you can support us! Invite others and enjoy the show!
