This is Ms.Dunn. She is a 24-year old middle school ELA teacher. She teaches for seventh grade. She went to college at Hannibal-LaGrange University. Ms.Dunn has been teaching for 2 years. Her favorite student is Millie Minckley. She just recently got engaged to her fiance Jake. Ms. Dunn is One of the best ELA teachers. I am doing this project for Trojan news. 

This story is about the school secretary Ms. Henness has been working at this school for 3 years, almost 4 . Ms. Henness is the world's best secretary.Thank Ms. Henness for the best 2 years of middle school so far!

These are our new bleachers! Our last bleachers broke and now we got new ones for jumpstart! You should treat these bleachers with respect because these are brand new and hard to get! I love our bleachers because they are easy and good to sit in. 

This is our A&E card box. A&E stands for attitude and effort cards. To get these teachers need to see good behavior and nice traits in other people. We should Appreciate the box because it shows that this school isn’t all that bad. Some people think our school isn’t good but they are wrong and need to realize they only see some of the bad people. This picture is the 8th grade girl’s basketball team when they played against Sanet fe trail. They lost to Sante Fe Trail but played hard. Hope Damron is the player shooting a free throw in the photo.

This is a 7th grader, Frank Boehm, and Coach Gagnebin playing the basketball game in the new Wellness room. The Wellness room has more games but I choose this game because it’s fun. Its also a fun class in the school that will be used more for prizes and rewards.

This is our first semester 7th grade newspaper class! In this class we do our work on stories for the Trojan news! You can find this class in the 7th grade hall in Ms. Dunn's Room. My opinion on this class is that I think it's an amazing class. Especially the teacher, she's amazing! Ms. Dunn is an awesome teacher! The class is also really fun. We do so many amazing things like go outside and take pictures around the school. We do so many stories and make them for people to read, like this!      -Dali Harper

This is Ms. Dunn’s 7th grade Trojan News class. Ms. Dunn took this picture so we could all be in it. We wanted to take this picture because we thought it’d be fun to take a group picture. Ms. Dunn’s newspaper class makes the Trojan News and takes pictures for the yearbook. We took this picture outside of the cafeteria doors on the brick wall.          -Natalia Loredo

We took this photo outside of the middle school. This picture is of Ms. Dunn, Carissa Clay, Natalia Loredo and me. This picture is off us taking a picture of our toes. The reason why we took this picture is because it's funny and cute. 

This is a picture of the gym and the curvy bench in front of it. We do a lot of things in the gym. We play games, do workouts, and listen to music. The bench is usually where we end our laps when we run during gym. Coach Gagnebin is the girls’ gym teacher and Coach Schillig is the boys’ gym teacher. We have a lot of fun in the gym and the coaches make it really fun. 

This is me during one of my favorite classes this year, Trojan Times. I like this class because it's fun. Some of you may be wondering why I am laying down like this, well because our assignment was to get the angles in a picture. I didn't know this picture was even taken but now that I look at it I'm glad that is was. Pictures can say a thousands of words and this is one of those pictures. It lets people know how I look at life. I look at the small things and this little hole is one of those this for a random reason I find it very interesting and  this picture is one of my favorite pictures. 

This is a full blown picture of mother nature. As you can see how beautiful mother nature's actions are. The sun shines on all the grass making it shine so gracefully. Our nature is also being destroyed by global warming and pollution. We're cutting down trees just for paper. We need to stop! 

I'm going talk about my favorite class. My favorite class is gym because Coach G has me work hard. She also had me try a sport that I didn't think I could do but I tried it and I liked it. She is my favorite gym teacher I have ever had.  

My other favorite class is math I love to do math. Mrs. Schneider also lets us play math computer games sometimes. She's really nice. She likes to mess around with us a lot. I love to be in her class.

You always should be responsible. If you're not responsible you will not be successful in life. So you better be responsible every single day. You need to be successful so do what you need to do to be responsible. 

You should always respect everybody no matter what. Even if they make you mad or something, you just got to do what you got to do. Always make sure you are respectful. If you are respectful you can do better in life. 

This photo I took is a sign in OMS. It is the sign when you walk in the office. It is important to the school because when you walk in the office you can see and read the sign. It tells you we are the home of the Trojans at Osawatomie middle school. There are signs like that throughout the entire school. On every hallway there is a sign about the Trojans or Osawatomie.

This is the second picture I took of an American flag. The reason I took this picture is because I love looking back in history to see what the flags went through. And if you picture in your mind a blank American Flag you can see so many different colors that the flag could be. You can learn anything about an American Flag. When you look back in time you can see what the flags have been through. 

This is Mr. Boyer, he is very funny, goofy, and nice. He is an 8th grade science teacher. My sister is in high school now and said that he was off at first but once you get to know him like a teacher he is a really good goofy teacher. My sister told me that he made an experiment that made like fog and stuff so he put it in the vent and it transferred to Ms. Jones' room. It filled  part of the hallway. So the hallways were foggy. But other than that his science class I bet will be fun and exciting. I picked Mr. Boyer because I wanted people that don't really know him from 6th grade to know him for 8th grade. 

OMS is a really great school! What we do to make it great is put the kids names that do sports or something to support OMS. Like this picture was the middle hallway filled with Band/Choir students that sing or go places to support us. We fill all of the lockers with kids' names. Like the 8th grade side is all the football boys, volleyball girls, and cross country kids. The 7th grade hallway is football boys/volleyball girls. We just do this so people can stand out for what we do for OMS.  

My story is about the Trojan sign near the lunchroom, I took the picture because it says Trojan and OMS all on it and it is a good sign to have because we are Trojans, we are part of OMS. I love Osawatomie Middle School, I love being a Trojan because everyone here is family and we all are nice and loving. 

The football team, the Volleyball team, Cross Country, and many more are all family, if they are laughing, they aren’t laughing at you they are laughing with you, we all our selves, we all make mistakes but we all just go with it. The Trojan sign is a way to show us that we are The Trojans and we love OMS no matter what. There hasn’t been one student that has gone here and didn’t like this place.

In this picture, the 7th and 8th-grade varsity teams are cheering for the JV teams. This is at the high school where all of the OMS volleyball players play all of their home games. Sadly their season is now over but luckily basketball starters in a few days. The girls had such a great volleyball season they became better friends but also better teammates.  Luckily almost all of the girls are playing basketball so they will still all be able to be together and get better together. 

In this picture, the cheerleaders got their sweatshirts. They were so happy because it was these girls’ first year. They get such a good opportunity to get to cheer for other people.  It is so cool that they get to do it in 7th and 8th grade. They have some much fun doing it.  Also, they all get to do it together and learn everything together which is awesome. When they go cheered they all have amazing smiles on their faces. So that is my story about the OMS cheerleaders. GO BIG RED! 

Hi I'm Devon Spigno and this is my photo story. My photo is a football in the grass. It represents our football team and how fair they have come. They have worked really hard in practice so they can dominate their games. The coaches have worked hard to get them where they are, they have lots of experience with football and I think they have come a long way. 

This is another picture I took of a wall in our school. It shows a lot that has gone on in Osawatomie one is when Barack Obama came to Osawatomie and gave a speech, This happened in 2011. There is also a thing about John Brown; we have a memorial for John brown. There was a steam train that came to our town a while back that was cool. 

This is a picture of the OMS trophy case. The reason I took it is because it shows OMS has pride. It shows courage for the sports we have at OMS. the reason it shows courage is cause if the people see all of the awards and trophies they see how many stuff they have won and it makes them want to win even more! 

This is a poster of our school's A&E card. An A&E card means Attitude and Effort if you have good Attitude or good Effort or both you will most likely get one of the A&E cards. I took the picture because it shows OMS pride by inspiring other students to do better. It helps because it has a ton of inspirational messages on it. And if you get an A&E card you would put it in a red box and have a drawing to pick who gets a prize. 

I took this picture because Shyann is my best friend. This picture is important because she is funny, nice, and fun to hang out with. She is crazy and can be a handful but she always makes me laugh and smile. When I am having a bad day she won't stop bugging me and tell me what is wrong. She has a goofy personality and can make my whole day better with a smile. We give each other a hard time when we are messing around. We like to hang out with each other and make each other's day better. 

I took this picture because Charley is my sister. This picture is important because she can make any one smile even if they are having a bad day. She likes to wear pants and baggy hoodies. She has lots of friends and makes friends so easily. She is a very cheerful person and has a funny personality. She is the sweetest person I have met. I like to embarrass her in the hallway and when she is with her friends. She does the same thing to me and we have fun teasing each other. 

This picture shows the Osawatomie trojan symbol and what sports trojan plays. I took this picture because if people might want to go here to learn or teach they might want to see what team  we are and what sports we play. This picture is important because it is the team's logo and symbol.  It's important because it shows we play volleyball, basketball, football, wrestling, and cheerleading

This picture shows how our teachers at OMS are teaching their classes. Since we are having to deal with COVID, our teachers have to teach differently. The students do most of their school work online and have to wear masks and social distance. This year is really different with the Coronavirus going around. I'm writing this because people need to know everyone is trying their hardest to keep students educated with this coronavirus going around. I know some schools are trying to keep kids in school instead of online. I just wanted to say teachers, students, parents, kids and grandparents can all get through this if we work together and keep social distance and wearing a mask I think we can get through this.

Ms. Dunn  took a picture of the OMS Volleyball team shirts and masks. She and I thought it would be cool to see the OMS Volleyball team shirts and masks. It’s important to see the special volleyball shirt they have to wear to support their own team and so people know who is on the team. 

I took a picture of kids reading in the library. The library is a good place to study, read, and take tests. I thought a picture of these kids would help us know the library better. It’s important to see an example of library expectations. If you don’t follow the rules, you could get kicked out for being a distraction to others. 

This picture represents the school library. The librarian takes care of our school library and all of our books come from the library and without books the library would be bookless. without books the world would be a happy/sad place and we would know what the past was like cause we don’t have books. With books it can help us with building, buying and lot’s more. Books are important in life because we would need books to look for phone numbers and advertisements.
