This is a great book to read and learn about gratitude. We created a "thankfulness" quilt afterwards. Each student got their own quilt square to decorate. In the center they drew or wrote about things they were thankful for.

Encourage students to read.
Read the books as a class (novel study/read-a-loud).
Host a book tasting
Allow students to share feedback on books (Flipgrid or book reports, etc.)
In March, have students vote books until a winner has been identified!
